Area Job Conditions
Secretaries per capita is greatest in Carson City (Nevada), Palm Coast (Florida), and Lawton (Oklahoma). Harrisonburg (Virginia), Rochester (Minnesota), and Minneapolis (Minnesota) have the fewest per capita.
The highest salaries for workers are found in Washington (District of Columbia), Oakland (California), and Trenton (New Jersey), and the lowest-paying areas are in Lake Charles (Louisiana), Wheeling (West Virginia), and Laredo (Texas).
Training and Education
