Area Job Conditions

Managers are most common in Bloomington (Illinois), Champaign (Illinois), and Decatur (Illinois), and least common in York (Pennsylvania), Tyler (Texas), and Longview (Texas).

Workers are paid the most in San Jose (California), Detroit (Michigan), and San Francisco (California), and the least in Johnson City (Tennessee), Muncie (Indiana), and Morristown (Tennessee).

Training and Education

Most employees have work experience in a related occupation. Approximately 55% of managers have a bachelor's degree. About 27% of workers have been to college without getting a degree. About 17% of employees obtain jobs with only a high-school diploma or GED.
